New Years resolutions usually suck.
However, I’ve seen some folks who stick it out really….stick it out!
My new years resolutions (already revised since Jan 1st) –
- Wear sunscreen everyday (first need to find one that doesn’t cause me to break out!)
- Make 5K and 10K my race distances of the year
- January: Las Cruces 10K in Las Cruces, NM
- February: Cupid Dash 10K in Long Beach, CA; Surf City 13.1 Virtual
- March: Chili Pepper 10K in Las Cruces, NM; Hot Chocolate virtual
- April: Spring Fling Prairie Dog 10K in Arvada, CO
- May: Colorado 10K in Fort Collins, CO or BolderBoulder 10K
- June: Garden of the Gods 10K in Colorado Springs, CO
- July: Alien Chase 5K in Roswell, NM; Prairie Dog 10K in Westminster, CO
- August: Leadville 10K in Leadville, CO
- September: Labor Day 10K in Parker, CO
- October: Great Balloon Chase 10K in Albuquerque, NM
- November: Lady of the Mountain Run 10K in Alamogordo, NM
- December: Light Up the Night 10K in Roswell, NM
- Run at least 5 times a week
- Strength train at least 2 times a week
- Support smaller races
- Go to bed by 11pm every day
