Rang in the new year with a short run…one more work day before Dopey trip begins 💎 Goodbye 2025 ✌️ Grateful to be heading into year 6 as a @bocogear ambassador in 2026. Six years of miles, sweat, community, and showing up exactly as I am. Still running, still learning, still proudly repping gear that keeps up with every adventure ahead. 🏃‍♀️✨ Honored to continue into year 5 as a @stillirun ambassador in 2026. This past year came with real challenges — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and running wasn’t about performance, but about showing up, processing, and finding steadiness again. Grateful for a community that reminds me that healing doesn’t have to be linear, and that every runner belongs. 💚 The Rainbow Bridge says that when we leave this world, the pets we loved greet us again. I hope Kristin found her sweet Fëanor waiting — young, bright, and running straight into her arms. 💛🌈 🐾 Lately 🍂 9 weeks of corporate travel since June, and probably one more to go before the year is up. Loving lazy days ☕️ 📺 🐱 🛋️ 5.5 miles in total today (split AM/PM). Long run tomorrow 🏃🏻‍♀️ Two sessions today Evening treadmill run Quick evening run on the treadmill After-work run…a little later than usual Upper body lifting class tonight after work 💼 Half marathon 66 at the @rundisney Halloween Half last weekend. 90% humidity at the start line 🥵 I went out a bit too hard at the beginning because I was trying to give myself enough of a lead ahead of the balloon ladies. By the time I got to California Adventure I felt pretty rough…wobbly in the legs, not quite seeing stars but pretty close. I kept a close eye on my electrolytes and slowed down a bit. Worst case scenario I could always call it early, but I really wanted to finish.
