Takeaways: 1) No one is coming to save you, 2) Don’t wait for an epiphany in order to begin, 3) Focus on the problem, not your reaction to it. Garden leave, book 2: “Possible Minds.” 2/5. It is a very dense read of multiple essays and I couldn’t feign any more interest after two weeks. I design for AI and I can’t even stand this book. Abandoning it for the second time! Garden leave, book 1: “Life is in the Transitions.” 4/5. Takeaways: 1) Embrace the chaos 2) No one has their life together 3) There’s not one right way to approach change.
