Indoor plants are no match for this guy In for my 6th Dopey 💎 Garden leave, book 4: Discipline is Destiny by @ryanholiday. 5/5! My new favorite book. Takeaway: what you spend your time and energy doing becomes who you are, so spend it wisely. Garden leave, stop 6: Santa Monica. Sunset walk with one of my favorites 🧡 Garden leave, stop 5: Disneyland 🏰 Trying to get some use out of my annual pass ☺️ Garden leave, stop 4: the high desert in California. The crossover from frigid winter to blazing summer is in full swing. Celebrated a few weeks ago, but still thinking about that lemon raspberry cheesecake ☺️ He believed in us before we ever did. The passing of @jeffgallowayolympian is an unimaginable loss for the @rundisney community today 💙💚 May his positivity continue to encourage us on our hardest days and runs, one footfall at a time. Garden leave, book 3: “The Obstacle is the Way” by @ryanholiday. 5/5. Takeaways: 1) No one is coming to save you, 2) Don’t wait for an epiphany in order to begin, 3) Focus on the problem, not your reaction to it. Garden leave, book 2: “Possible Minds.” 2/5. It is a very dense read of multiple essays and I couldn’t feign any more interest after two weeks. I design for AI and I can’t even stand this book. Abandoning it for the second time! Garden leave, book 1: “Life is in the Transitions.” 4/5. Takeaways: 1) Embrace the chaos 2) No one has their life together 3) There’s not one right way to approach change. Garden leave, stop 3: Disney World for the Festival of the Arts 🎨 A good time as always Home life 🐾 Garden leave, stop 2: Seattle! It was great seeing some familiar faces 💙
